Shangla, Regional Police Officer Malakand Division Abdul Ghafoor Afridi visits Shangla Olander to inaugurate the newly constructed Model Police Station. Respected areas, Political, Social and Religious Personalities Participated in The Inauguration Ceremony. Disst Police Officer Shangla Rahim Shah Khan SDPOs, SHOs and police youth were also present On the Occasion. Addressing the function, Regional Police Officer Abdul Ghafoor Afridi said that Shangla is a peaceful district and its citizens are hospitable and cooperative with the police. Shangla is a tourist spot. Police, Army and other agencies have played a vital role in maintaining law and order in Malakand Division, he said, adding that indiscriminate crackdown on timber mafia and drug trafficking gangs would continue. The main Function of the Police is protection. protection of life, property and honor of the citizens is our top priority, no one is above us for the Constitution and the law. “Our doors will be open to the public at all times,” he said, On the occasion, District Police Officer Rahim Shah Khan thanked Regional Police Officer Abdul Ghafoor Afridi and said that Shangla is a peaceful district and its citizens are cooperating with the police. Yes, we will take steps to bring further reforms in the police force.
Former Senator and Central Leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Rahat Hussain and other political and social personalities also addressed the function and assured to continue all kinds of cooperation with the police.
