    Our indigenous struggle is only for liberation from Indian occupation: Syed Salahuddin

    Muzaffarabad: The martyrdom day of Burhan Muzaffar Wani was observed as Resistance day in Jammu and Kashmir.

    According to details, thousands of people participated in the resistance rally while chanting Anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.

    Rally participants held banners and placards with pictures of Burhan Wani and marched on the main highway from Sathra to Burhan Wani Chowk.

    While addressing the rally participants, Ameer Hizb ul Mujahideen Syed Salahuddin has said that our war will continue till the independence of Jammu and Kashmir.

    Talking by telephone, Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that thousands of martyrs including Burhan Wani are our heroes.

    He said that today we pledge that the mission of Burhan Wani Shaheed will be continued in all cases.

    Terming the Indian atrocities in IOK, Syed said that the world conscience is witnessing the human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir and our resistance through armed struggle would bring freedom.

    He said that no power in the world could dissuade the Kashmiri people from their struggle for independence, “our indigenous struggle’s only goal is to get liberation from Indian occupation.”

    “We(Kashmiris) are fighting a holy war(Jihad) against India and we will continue our struggle till our last breath.” Ameer maintained.

    Salahuddin Ahmed said that incumbent government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir should fulfill its responsibilities regarding freedom movement.

    Hizbul Mujahideen Deputy (Naib) Ameer Saifullah Khalid said that we gathered to pay homage to Burhan Wani Shaheed and thousands of other Kashmiri people who embraced martyrdom in freedom struggle.

    Shamsher Khan, Malik Mohammad Abdullah, Tahir Ijaz, Uzair Ahmad Ghazali and others also addressed the resistance rally.
