MUZAFFARABAD, (Parliament Times) : A High level meeting was held here on Tuesday to review the arrangements regarding the holding of Kashmir premier league . The Azad Kashmir Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan was in the chair. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Secretary directed the police and administration to take effective measures to make the event successful to promote the sports activities in the state. He said the premier league event will not only help promote the local talent but would also provide an opportunity to the people to witness an exciting competition of cricket . He said complete arrangements will be made to make the event successful. The meeting was attended by the Inspector General of Police, Secretary Information, Secretary Tourism and high ranking government officials.
Meanwhile the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary inaugurated the food street set up at Thori in collaboration with the Muzaffarabad Development Authority here on Tuesday. Inaugurating the food street he said the food street would go a long way in boosting the tourism activities besides providing recreational facilities to the citizens. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary Information and IT Midhat Shehzad , Secretary Physical Planning and Housing Mansoor Qadir Dar, Secretary Tourism Choudhary Imtiaz Ahmed ,Secretary SDMA Shahid Mohiuddin and a large number of people .
