No toleration of law contradictory to Pakistan’s constitution: CPNE

Lahore: The Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) has removed anti-media clauses from the Punjab Privilege Bill 2021 by Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. In his statement, CPNE President Arif Nizami thanked Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and Governor Punjab Muhammad Sarwar for announcing the removal of the controversial clauses.
