Selected PM makes a selected budget which will not be accepted at any cost: Bilawal
ISLAMABAD : PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said selected Prime Minister (PM) has made a selected budget which will not be accepted at any cost.
He said this in a statement while expressing his reservations over the decisions by National Economic Council (NEC) here Wednesday.
He demanded that more budget be allocated for health and education in the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2021-222.
Earmarking only Rs 30 billion in the upcoming budget for preventing people against coronavirus is subjecting them to corona virus, he remarked.
PTI government by allocating only 3.3 percent budget for health , PTI government has made it clear that public health is not priority, he added. Allocating Rs 68 billion in the next budget to appease PTI members of assembly and earmarking only Rs 5 billion for protecting the people against the coronavirus is anti people act, he added.
He held that PTI government has cut a joke with the future of people by allocating only 5.5 percents funds in the budget
If countries don’t make progress through the construction of roads then as to why increase was made by 38 percent by PTI government in the forth development budget of its government, he inquired.
