Rawalakot: (Parliament Times) : PPP Azad Kashmir Central Secretary Finance and Founder of Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir, Ideological Activist, Founder of Rawalakot Constituency Advocate Sardar Abid Hussain Abid at a crowded press conference at Ghazi Millat Press Club Rawalakot on Monday that he will contest the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections as an independent candidate in the shadow of pictures of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto from Constituency LA-21 Poonch Rawalakot. He strongly appealed to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto to reconsider his decision and return the ticket of Sardar Yaqoob Khan from Rawalakot constituency and give him the PPP ticket. He said that after forty years of untiring efforts for the survival of the party, a new constituency was created, party workers organized but ignored.
Sardar Yaqoob Khan managed to obtain tickets from two constituencies, which is unjust on the part of the party. He also said that if there is any such law or any such thing which is coming to light that the person who will win from both the constituencies will be the President or the Prime Minister then he is ready to leave the election in favor of Yaqoob Khan today but it can not be support hereditary politics.
“It will be an obstacle in the way of those who consider it their right to contest from both the constituencies on the basis of arrogance and pride and they will taste arrogance and pride”, he added. He urged the people of the constituency to do justice with him keeping in view of his past struggle for political stability and the struggle for the rights of the people of Rawalakot.
