ISLAMABAD:    Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has said the incumbent government does not patronize the criminals and NAB is fully free to conduct accountability.

“Government does not back the criminals. The performance of NAB remained better during the present government. There is remarkable difference in performance of NAB and anti corruption department in the present government tenure as compared to PML-N tenure “, he said this in his tweet on social media website Wednesday.

He went on to say Anti corruption recovered Rs 220 billion during 31 months in Punjab. PTI government recovered land costing Rs 192 billion as compared to 10 years of PML-N.

He went on to say there is marked difference in the NAB performance. NAB made recovery of Rs 484 billion during the period from 2018 to 2020. On the other hand NAB could recover only Rs 290 billion during the period between 1999 to 2017.
He underlined the present government does not patronize the criminals and the NAB is fully free to conduct accountability. This is yielding good results.
