Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : “Thanks to PM Imran Khan and his government’s efforts which brought positive results as hundreds of Pakistani workers have been flew into the United Arab Emirates to join their jobs”, said Khalid Nawaz, the chief executive officer of Knight Human Management (KHM) and Shalan GL Pakistan, a job security and rights protection agency for overseas Pakistani workers.
He was addressing a well-attended training workshop specially held for the overseas Pakistani workers here on Tuesday in KHM office Rawalpindi.
He said that PM Imran Khan has successfully won the attention of UAE and Saudi Arabia where job opportunities for Pakistani workers would be doubled in the days to come. “Poverty and un-employment reduction measures of the government would be strengthened through increasing overseas jobs for Pakistani workers”, he added.
He also commended the staff members of KHM for imparting much needed training to overseas workers and said the interpersonal skills along with strong technical expertise would make our youth a priority for seeking overseas jobs easily. Khalid Nawaz said that KHM is striving very hard to protect the rights of the employees and employers. He mentioned that a number of groups of overseas workers have been reached in Abu Dehbi and more are to depart in the next few days. He said the overseas workers are being made aware of the labour laws of International Labour Organization (ILO) and the country concerned so that they can better safeguard their rights over there
Khalid said that thousands of workers and their families had to face financial problems during the period of the travel ban but now their difficulties are over. He asked the workers to make full use of modern information technologies to acquire perfection in their technical skills. He also praised the Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government for taking unprecedented steps for the welfare of overseas Pakistanis including restoration of employment opportunities for our youth in UAE.
