BALOCH, (Parliament Times) : The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has said that the peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute is a key of progress and prosperity of south Asia and underlined the need to take Kashmiri on board for the peaceful resolution of the lingering Kashmir dispute.
He was talking to media persons after offering fatha for the wife of the Minister of law and Parliamentary affairs Sardar Farooq Ahmed Tahir here on Sunday.
The Prime Minister said Kashmir is not a territorial dispute between Indian and Pakistan but it was a question of granting right to self determination to the Kashmiri people in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.
He said India was not sincere in the settlement of the Kashmir issue and her offer of talk is merely to hoodwink the international community from the worst human rights situation obtaining in occupied Kashmir.He said Kashmiri were the fundamental party to the dispute and no solution of Kashmir issue will be possible without their participation .
Referring to the next general in Azad Kashmir he said Muslim league (N) will set up government again in Azad Kashmir in view of the tremendous performance of the government , however he made it clear the Gilgit Baltistan episode will not be allowed to repeat in Azad Kashmir. The Prime Minister paid rich tributes to the people of Poonch for their unique sacrifices during the liberation movement in 1947 and remained committed for the liberation of Kashmir from dogra despotic rule. The Prime Minister appealed to the people to strictly follow the preventive measures as the third wave of the corona pandemic is more dangerous to that of the previous. He asked the people to maintain social distancing and implement the SOPs on Eid congregations.
