Favoritism is not a new word for us, it’s a natural phenomenon that exists everywhere.it simply states that preferring someone based on personal liking and disliking, nowadays it’s spreading like a plaque where students are supposed to be in good books of teachers and then they will obtain good grades in exams. Unfortunately, it’s very hard to say that in our institutions there is a copy culture system that is still serving and not demolished yet but besides this students have not much courage to motivate themselves and believe that their hard work will pay off. Therefore teachers favor the students on basis of their areas, their family /blood relationship though the study indicates that favourtism in any institutions either it is in nursery class or at the intermediate level or even in university classes have ultimately a negative impact on students because it does not create mutual trust and understanding between teacher and students. After all, students considered teacher as their role model but if their role models suppressed them and favor the students who even don’t attend classes then the personality of the teacher will be shown negatively. To wrap up, it’s very essential to pay focus on these issues our institutions must provide equality to students in terms of their education even marking also because if not then there will be worst effects as well for instances same teachers teaching in one institution but their attitude is not same which has a bad impact on students self-esteem like some students dare to bear all this and their mind cant be diverted while on other hand some students even became more agitated when they don’t find a suitable environment where they can explore their hidden talent so its necessary that teachers in institutions should treat students equally.
