Aurangzeb Nadir
Nowadays electricity has become a basic human need. Nothing can work without electricity. We have heard that in foreign countries electricity is available 24 hours a day while in our country Pakistan it is the opposite of it. Makran’s electricity is coming from Iran. Iran is giving us electricity at a very good price. One unit is less than one rupee. If a unit is less than one rupee, then this is the case with electricity, it is beyond comprehension. There is no shortage of electricity in Makran, yet the people are longing for electricity If WAPDA says that you people are not paying the bill, then their statement is a complete lie and there is no truth in it. Because there are some feeders in district Kech where electricity is provided 24 hours a day and they do not pay a single rupee, be it a bill or something else. Turbat is one of the hottest cities in Pakistan and South Asia. How can you live without electricity? As the blessed month of Ramadan approaches, load shedding increases.Another drama of WAPDA is that sometimes they reduce the voltage and sometimes they increase it so that the valuables things of the people are burnt. WAPDA is successful in this drama. Electricity has become a torment rather than a convenience. There are more than a dozen elected representatives in Makran and if these representatives cannot solve the single problem then what can the nation expect from them. Therefore, the rulers should now stop their dramas and pay sincere attention to public issues. The people have not sent you just to sit in the assembly.
