Srinagar : Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement (women’s wing ) on Wednesday held a meeting of core group and its leaders to discuss and deliberate upon the prevailing situation in occupied Jammu Kashmir .
The meeting was held at party head quarter and chaired by Secretary Aalima Maryam Jameela , during which prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir and party affairs were discussed.
The spokesperson while quoting party sources, said that during the meeting, it was impressed to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. It was stressed upon to constitute new units in the respective districts and reach workers working there .
While addressing the meeting Alima Maryam Jameela said that “Time has come when India and its alliance partners should take into account the explosive Kashmir situation and look for ways and means to find a lasting solution to the issue rather than using its muscle power to crush the rightful struggle of the people,”.
In her address, she reiterated that state and Delhi administration is continuously ignoring the ground realities and asked to stop illegal and unconstitutional measures being perpetrated on the people of J&K unilaterally. This is not only unacceptable but would be fought against in unison by the people of J&K, she added.
Hailing people for their steadfastness and bravery ,she said that ,’’we are facing pellets, bullets and our people being caged and implicated in false cases .She reiterated the peaceful solution of Kashmir issue is the only way ,saying war is no solution and peace of sub-continent is linked with peaceful and rightful solution of Kashmir issue .
