ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday decided to bring its own opposition leader in Senate.
Awami National Party (ANP) and Balochistan National Party (BNP-Mengal) have assured PPP of their support.
Sources said PPP have 21 its own votes in Senate while ANP and BNP Mengal have 2 senators each .
Sources disclosed PPP is likely to nominate Sherry Rehman as opposition leader in the upper house of the Parliament, Senate.
PPP will now file its application with the signatures of 25 senators in Senate secretariat soon.
