Sukkur: Rising incidents of dog bites in Sindh, Supreme Court warns to suspend MPAs of Brahma, Larkana, Khairpur, Ratu Dirwa and Jamshoro, children of poor are being bitten by dogs and MPAs are sitting comfortably in Karachi with votes Yes, Judge Rima Rex.
During the hearing of the constitutional petition filed in the Sindh High Court Sukkur Bench against the increase in the number of dog bites in the province, a report was presented in the court that during the dog killing campaign in Sindh, one lakh so far. Ten thousand dogs have been killed. The court rejected the report and expressed strong anger. Judge Aftab Ahmed Gorar remarked that when the court had ordered why the MPAs were not monitoring the dog killing campaign. We can also give orders to suspend MPAs and why not suspend MPAs of Larkana, Khairpur, Jamshoro and Ratodero on which Additional Advocate General Shafi Muhammad Chandio informed the court that the work of MPAs Legislation is not to kill dogs. The court asked them to state what legislation these MPAs have enacted in the last 15 years. It is the responsibility of MPAs to protect the people. Is their job only to protect the people? It is that they go to Karachi to vote and sit here. The children of the poor people are being bitten by dogs here, but they do not even realize it. There is no stick for laughing. Dogs are biting her. A girl was bitten by a dog and her eye was lost. Can her eye come back? The judges were outraged and said who is responsible for stopping these incidents and the dogs that are being killed are being thrown on the streets which is spreading more diseases. Appropriate arrangements should also be made for their disposal. During the hearing in the court, the police officers of different districts submitted detailed reports of the cases registered in their respective districts regarding the incidents of dog bites. The hearing of the petition was adjourned till March 31
