LAHORE: PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz has said she is not afraid of the threats of revocation of the bail and she has gone to jail twice and is ready to go to jail for the third time.
“PML-N is ready for every option including long march and she will not go abroad unless Imran Khan is sent to home”, she said this while talking to media men here in jati Umra Monday.
She went on to say This government has neither any legal nor any constitutional standing. Therefore, PML-N and PDM will not talk to this government.
She remarked they cannot frighten me with the threats of revocation of my bail. PML-N will not stand mute if such revengeful acts are committed. I am being politically victims, she added.
I have no fear and I am ready to go to jail for the third time. When I was detained I was asked what books I have to read.
She stated NAB has filed application in Lahore High Court against my bail. What can be more ridiculous thing than this. It was said in the court I was giving statements, therefore, the bail be revoked. How the NAB has been empowered to assess the statements.
She remarked judiciary and army have their own spokesperson who have appointed NAB as spokesperson.
Seizing corruption is NAB job, she said adding NAB has badly failed in this job. Now it has started raising hue and cry.
She held NAB lied in the court that I was not cooperating in the investigation. On the other hand I appeared before NAB whenever it called me. I was attacked and was pelted with stones and even then I stood outside NAB office. They did not open their doors. One year has been elapsed and NAB has not summoned me. On the other hand it was said in high court that I was giving statements, therefore, my bail be cancelled. I hope Lahore High Court will not hear the petition and it will take notice of NAB absurd petition.
She underlined that it pains NAB that I was interfering in the politics. They are taking political revenge by firing gun from the shoulder of the court. I am not deterred. You will fail in taking revenge. I will represent the people and raise voice over the interference. I am politician and I will do politics.
She underlined that corona comes when government is in hot soup otherwise corona does not come. Corona vaccine has come but vaccine for Imran Khan is that people should reject him. I will not go abroad unless I send Imran Khan to home. It is troublesome for NAB why I call the atta and sugar thief as thief. The scandal of installation of secret cameras is before all. There is mention of secret voting in the constitution rather than secret cameras.
She disclosed the matter of chairman senate will be taken to court and Yousuf Raza Gillani will succeed.
She stated that Javed Latif is patriotic Pakistani and his statement has been presented out of context. His patriotism is beyond any shadow of doubt. He is elected again and again and come to the house again and again.
Long live Pakistan and it will remain long live , she said this while chanting slogan.
