Distt Bar Association elections held, Adv Lawoon elected president

ZHOB: Lawyers from the two neighboring districts elected the office bearers of their respective districts’ bar associations here on Friday.

Advocate Abdul Rehman Lawoon and Advocate Wali Azad Mandokhail elected president and secretary general respectively of the District Bar Association Zhob. The polls held on the court premises. The office-bearers of Zhob and Sherani bar associations were elected during annual elections for the next one year term.

Advocate Abdul Rehman Lawoon elected president Zhob Bar association while Advocate Wali Azad Mandokhail elected secretary general during the polls held on the premises of district and sessions court Zhob. In Sherani Bar elections, Advocate Jan Muhammad Sherani grabbed the seat of the district president while Advocate Hazrat Bilal Sherani elected secretary general of district Sherani Bar Association.

The newly elected office bearers of the bars thanked the lawyers for posing confidence and said the victory proved the trust of the legal fraternity on them. They resolved that they would try their level best to create best working relationship between the bar and bench for delivery of speedy justice to the litigants.

The newly elected president Advocate Abdul Rehman Lawoon and sectary general Advocate Wali Azad Mandokhail hoped that the newly elected office bearers would strive for the rights of their community members as well as that of public at large.

“We would utilize our energies and capabilities for the welfare of lawyers and would not compromise on principles,” they vowed.

Meanwhile, senior lawyers, political leaders, social activists and people from different walks of life have warmly congratulated the newly elected cabinet of Zhob and Sherani Bar Associations and termed it a victory for all those struggling for the supremacy of the constitution.
