Corruption free Azad Kashmir is possible if PTI wins: Barrister Sultan
Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has successfully won the important wicket of PML-N from Jammu constituency of refugees. Former Presidential Adviser and former Chairman Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission Major (retd) Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry left PML-N and joined PTI along with hundreds of colleagues and family. He made the announcement at a grand and inaugural function held at PTI Azad Jammu and Kashmir Central Secretariat Gulberg Islamabad. Addressing the function, former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry said that if PTI coming to power in Azad Jammu and Kashmir would not only hold the former rulers accountable for their corruption but also emergency measures will be taken to make Azad Kashmir a complete welfare state according to Khan’s vision. He said InshaAllah, the political map of Azad Kashmir will change completely in the next one or two months. We will lay the foundation for a corruption-free Azad Kashmir and take steps to make Azad Kashmir a complete welfare state in line with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and our leader Imran Khan. He said the present rulers of Azad Kashmir tried to extract teeth by amending the Azad Kashmir Accountability Bureau Act and found a way to avoid their looting. We will restore this act to its original state and we will follow Imran Khan’s vision. Corrupt people will be held accountable and screams will be raised even in Azad Kashmir. Addressing the function on the occasion, Major (retd) Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry said that now strength will be seen in every constituency including the refugee constituencies and Mirpur, there is no better man in Azad Kashmir than Barrister Sultan. The era of corruption and looting in Azad Kashmir is coming to an end soon. The situation of the accountability body by those who made merit speeches is an example of the massacre of merit. Former Prime Minister and President PTI Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry was the chief guest on the occasion. Former Presidential Adviser and former Chairman Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission Major (retd) Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry along with other dignitaries of his tribe including Chaudhry from Mirpur were present on the occasion. Abdul Haq, Chaudhry Abdul Rasheed, Shahid Iqbal, Chaudhry Jawad, Chaudhry Naseer, Saeed Ahmed, Waqar Hafeez, Anwar Ali, Khadim Hussain, Muhammad Munir, Muhammad Siddique, Ghulam Qadir, Hafiz Sulaiman, Zafar Naeem, Muhammad Naeem, Tariq Jan, Zubair Shafiq And a large number of others also resigned from PML-N and joined PTI Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the function, Mirza Basharat, Senior Vice President, PTI Mirpur, said that we have won the Mirpur elections today. Senior leaders of PTI Azad Kashmir Sardar Fahim Rabbani, Raja Shujaat, Sardar Majid Sharif, Ikram Qazi, Sajid Abbasi, Youth Wing leader Chaudhry Sajid Aslam, General Secretary Jammu Region Raja Aftab, Sheikh Sadiq, Chaudhry Shahnawaz, Lawyers Forum were also present on the occasion. Raja Masood Khan Advocate, Sardar Saeed, Raja Ilyas, Zain Khokhar, Sardar Abdul Hameed Advocate and other party leaders and workers participated in large numbers. Meanwhile, Sardar Akhlaq Advocate, Sardar Zahid Advocate and Sardar Tasveer, Tariq Khan from Baloch constituency also participated. He announced the decision to join PTI Azad Jammu and Kashmir today in the presence of former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and Sardar Fahim Akhtar Rabbani.
