SHIKARPUR: Mushtaque Ahmed Kalwar, the District & Sessions Judge Shikarpur visited the Civil Court Khanpur to conduct the annual inspection and also visited the Rural Health Centre Khanpur during his surprise visit the doctors of RHC told the District Judge that at least 400 to 600 hundred patients are visiting the RHC on a daily basis, therefore, RHC should be awarded the level of Taluka Hospital for the welfare of the people of the taluka.
However, the patients, present during the visit of the DJ Shikarpur, also shared their reservations with the District & Sessions Judge.
Later, according to a statement issued by Information Department Shikarpur, stated that the District & Session Judge Shikarpur has written a letter addressed to the Secretary Health Department, in which he stated that Khanpur and Garhi Yasin have got the status of Talukas in 1970 & 1981 and the location of both talukas is next to Indus highway and huge patients are visiting the centers on daily basis therefore for the best interests of the people of both Talukas the status of Taluka Hospitals may be awarded, the statement stated.
