Lahore: Pakistan ready to tackle South Africa in T20I series after defeating them 2-0 in test series.
The first T20I will be played on Thursday, at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore. The match will begin at 6:00 pm PST.
Babar Azam is making a comeback in the T20I side after missing out New Zealand series due to injury. Haidar Ali is expected to open batting line up along with Kushdil Shah or Muhammad Rizwan. Hafeez is missing out this series creating a loop hole in the middle order. Shadab Khan is also missing out the series amid an injury. Muhammad Hasnain, Haris Rauf and Muhammad Nawaz are leading the bowling attack for green shirts.
On the other hand, South Africa’s main pillars including Quinton de Cock, du Plessis and Lungi Ngidi have returned back to home after test series. Hence a new and young South African team will be bit under pressure. Only David Malan knows the Pakistani conditions out of the South African Squad.
Both the opponents met in South Africa during 2018-19 series where South Africa proved its command by 2-1 victory.
