Govt keen to make special education effective: Secretary Special Education

Attock(district Report) Secretary Special Education, Punjab Government, Syed Javed Iqbal Bukhari has said that the Punjab government is taking steps to make special education effective and its fruits are reaching the people. On the occasion of the inauguration of the Education Center. District President PTI Qazi Ahmad Akbar, Focal Person Syed Khawar Bukhari, Deputy Commissioner Attock Ali Annan Qamar, CEO Education Dr. Javed Iqbal Awan, Col. Shahid Jamil Mian, Exxon Building Amir Shah, CEO Special Education Rawalpindi Dr. Fauzia Khurshid, Salma Khatun Head Mistress Government Razia Sultana School Attock and other officers were also present. Syed Javed Iqbal Bukhari said that special students are an important part of our society and education system. These students have played an important role in the promotion of education. A new Special Education Center has been set up at 16 Kanal in Mansar at a cost of Rs. 90 million and currently has 68 students studying in it. He said that the Department of Special Education was also setting up such centers in other districts so that special persons could be educated and prove to be useful citizens of the country. Addressing the function, District President PTI Qazi Ahmad Akbar Khan said that the Minister Azam Imran Khan and Chief Minister Usman Bazdar are working for the welfare of all sections. Special people are playing an active role in our society. The establishment of a special education center in Attock will boost education in the area and provide educational facilities to the students. Deputy Commissioner Attock Ali Annan Qamar and other speakers also addressed the inaugural function. Special students also presented beautiful sketches on the occasion.
