QUETTA, (Parliament Times) : Honorary Consul General of Pakistan in Philadelphia and renowned veterinary surgeon Dr Inayat Hussain Kathio called on Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Wednesday to discuss development of livestock sector, improvement of regional livestock breeding and other issues. Parliamentary Secretary Minority Affairs Dhanish Kumar was also present on the occasion. Talking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the present government is striving for the development of livestock sector. There is a lot of potential in the livestock and dairy development sector in Balochistan. The country’s foreign exchange can also be increased. The Chief Minister said that along with legislation for the promotion of livestock and poultry in the province, steps are being taken to formulate a formal policy which would strengthen the farmers associated with this sector economically and also enable sustainable development of this sector. On the occasion, Dr. Inayat Hussain said that he is ready to provide free services for the betterment of the livestock sector in Balochistan. He also thanked the Chief Minister.
