Lahore: The Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferraris visited Lahore Arts Council here on Tuesday at Alhamra Arts Center, the Mall. He was received by Chairperson Board of Governors Lahore Arts Council Moneeza Hashmi and Executive Director Alhamra Saman Rai. Cultural activities were discussed during the meeting and commitment to work together under mutual understanding was welcomed by both sides.
During the visit he took keen interest in various sections of Alhamra including Alhamra Art Gallery, Alhamra academy of Performing Arts, Alhamra Studio, Alhamra Research Centre and other departments. While praising the beauty of Alhamra Italian Ambassador Andreas Ferraris said that, the cultural beauty of Pakistan is commendable, Alhamra is the cultural identity of Pakistan globally
