In December 2019, Wuhan city of China burst out the screams of fear when the COVID-19; a global pandemic, emerged. Its first wave appeared in Pakistan on February 26, 2019 which obliged the government for straight lockdown. Now this is the second wave in Pakistan which has installed another shutdown only in educational institutions. The immediate shutdown of schools and other institutions is a direct indication of being illiterate which even enhances illiteracy ratio leaf and bound. Schools were the only places, where students and teachers were following the SOPs cautiously, but still government imposed a thorough shutdown in scholastic activities. It will be perplex when you look up to markets, roads, hotels, etc, where masses are in crowds as COVID-19 doesn’t even exist. Does it only affect students? Averting a nation from education is like disappearing it from world’s map, so it is sincerely requested to the federal education minister to view long implemented duration of vacations for primary and university students.
