Real meaning of development ? According to some reads ” Development is process of improving the quality of all human lives and capabilities by raising people’s level of living , self -esteem and freedom “. The process of betterment is not of year but many years and goals never – changing from this improvement . Development means an increase in the size or betterment in the economy such that more products and services. Development in living standards and lifestyles of a people of in area . Nevertheless the role of development in Pakistan when it comes on people lifestyles or transforming people’s lives is not so empaistic. About 55% of Pakistan’s population is associated with agriculture sector . Despite this , the actual problems with Pakistan’s agriculture is its low productivity. That is , because of various constraints , the productivity potential of Pakistan’s agriculture is lower then the developed countries . economy is directly or indirectly associated with agriculture . Approximately 19.2% of our GDP comes from agriculture . Most of the industrial units in Pakistan use raw material coming from agriculture sector. Opening of new job markets is part of development but poverty halved , estimated from 40 to 20 percent . If the opening of new job markets are changing people’s lives that means the country is on the process of developing . Good Development is depend on good governance and on local government . Transportation is considered very important for the prosperity and development of any country . With the Development of modern road network , most of the people have start using road transport . Modern transportation is changing people’s lives and their living standards . As we all know that water is blessing , but health is also a blessing and health is considered as a main part of a Development . When the government of a country does not take care of the health of the people living in that country , that country never develop . Development , from a cavilling to a bolstering from , is an betterment in living standards and lifestyles of a people of an area . I do not think so that Pakistan is a Developing country, neither it can develop. If Pakistan is Developing then it is only Developing for the 1% of the population, who owns land , cooperation, industries and factories but not improving the quality of all human lives and capabilities by raising people’s level of living.
