Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : Present government of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf is doing an unprecedented job to protect the rights of Overseas Pakistani workers who, in return, despite Corona’s lockdown and fears have played a key role in stabilizing the economy by sending record foreign exchange to their country, said Mr. Khalid Nawaz, chief executive officer of Knight Human Management (KHM) and Shalan Pakistan, an agency that protects the rights and jobs of Overseas Pakistanis.
He was addressing the behavioral training session of students of various technical courses held here in KHM office on Thursday. Khalid Nawaz said that overseas Pakistani workers sent about 13 billion dollars foreign exchange to Pakistan in the last six months of last year, the largest record in the country’s history. “This record came at a time when the corona virus forced a worldwide lockdown, but our overseas Pakistanis set an example thanks to their excellent attitudes and professionalism”, he added saying that such professionalism and good morals are the guarantee of success of our youth in abroad.
He said that during the technical training of the workers, KHM ensures that our trained specialists not only meet the demand of foreign companies or institutions but also become their need. “For our students who are unable to complete their education due to lack of resources, KHM has contracted affordable higher professional and technical education facilities at Canada’s top universities.”, he told the students. Our goal is to help less resourceful but intelligent students complete their education and thereby play our role in reducing poverty and unemployment in the country.
Khalid Nawaz asked the experts of Masterminds Audit, Accounts and Taxation and School of Art and Design to pay full attention to the personality and character building of the students with technical skills and also to create interpersonal skills within them so that our skilled workforce become preferred experts in the global job market.
He also lauded the Prime Minister Imran Khan and concerned officials for their unparalleled work for the protection of the rights of Pakistanis working abroad. In addition, the practical steps taken by the government to solve the problems faced by overseas Pakistanis within their country were also appreciated.
