Difficult to protect Nawaz’s anti-army statement, says Major (R)Hafeez Ch

ISLAMABAD,(Parliament Times): PML-N Azad Kashmir Central Leader and former presidential adviser Major Hafeez Chaudhry has expressed his deep concern over the statement made against former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and PDM leaders. He called it an anti-national statement that is likely to incite people only. Major Hafeez Chaudhry said that the statement of Nawaz Sharif does not reflect the thinking of the Creator Party of Pakistan. The leaders of the party and the people also have serious reservations about this statement, he added. “I am proud to belong to the army,” said Major Hafeez Chaudhry, adding that the party’s attempt to run the party on the philosophy of anti-Pakistan parties Mahmood Achakzai and Maulana Fazlur Rehman is a matter of concern.”I find it difficult to defend Mian Sahib’s statement in front of people associated with my former and current military establishments and Mian Nawaz Sharif who came to the fore with the help of these same institutions is today targeting the army chief by name” he said. He said that we are under intense pressure to criticize the government. It is their right to criticize the government. However, their statements regarding the state and intelligence agencies make the country laugh all over the world. This position of the Prime Minister and the leader of a major party is absolutely unacceptable and the Pakistani people never support such thinking.
