Govt asks provincial governments to stop labourers, pensionsers, clerks from going to IBD on January 12 at every cost


ISLAMABAD:    Federal government has asked provincial governments to stop clerks, pensioners and labour unions from coming to Islamabad on January 12 from across the country because they want to hold protest rallies to press their demands.

Government further directed that finace minister Hafiz Sheikh talked to these organizations and their demands be heard because the PDM can capitalize on this entire situation which had already given call for protest outside election commission office on January 19.

Interior minister Sheikh Rashid has sent a circular to Prime Minister (PM) Secretariat already sayng labor unions of PIA, PTCL, Utility stores, PIMS, Radio, AIOU, PTCL and other labour unions, clerks and pensioners are all set to hold protest rally in red zone on January 12.Their protest can be prolonged and PDM can take mileage ouit of it. Therefore finance minister should meet them forthwith and find out solution to their problems.
