MUSAKHAIL: “The poor and unfortunate children in the backward Musakhail district of Balochistan have been deprived of education opportunities as most of the state-run schools either without teachers or lack basic facilities. The private institutions are playing a significant role to educate the unprivileged children,” said senior journalist Ghulam Mustafa Zimri while addressing the Guideline Public Middle school’s annual results function.
Journalist Rafiullah Mandokhail was the chief guest of the results announcement and prize distribution ceremony, while Shams Hariphal presided over the event. Upon their arrival, they were showered with rose petals and flower garlands were put around their necks to warmly welcome them. They were also presented with the traditional turbans to adorn their heads.
Ex-chairman Zakat Ehsanullah, president trade union Haji Habibullah Khan, journalist Abdul Wahid Watanpal, teachers Qutab Din, Samad Khan, Muhammad Rafiq, Abdul Aziz, Niamatullah, Muhibullah, Umer Din, parents Haji Masoom Khan, Aminullah Hamzazai, Khanak Khan, school staff and students in a large number attended the function that was commenced with the recitation of the holy Qur’an. School head Syed Rasool Musakhail and principle Sher Muhammad Musakhail in their introductory remarks highlighted the importance of education and achievements by the institution.
They congratulated all the students on their success and all the efforts they had put in prior to their annul exam in a short period of time, despite the fact that the Covid-19 pandemic affected their academic year. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest stressed the need for promoting female education enabling them to cope with the challenges and lauded the school’s performance and teachers’ services with dedication and passion. He admired the teaching staff.
Meanwhile, trophies and prizes were distributed among the position holder students and the souvenirs were given away to the guests.
