Ex PM Shahid K Abbasi, AJK PM Raja Farooq Haider discuss issues of mutual interest

ISLAMABAD,   (Parliament Times) :   Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and senior leader of PML-N Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and PML-N chief spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb called on the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir President PML-N Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan at Jammu and Kashmir House. The meeting strongly condemned the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and the Indian military siege that has still continued since 5 August. The meeting also strongly condemned the unprovoked firing of Indian forces on the ceasefire line and the targeting of innocent civilians. Civil Defense Minister Ahmad Raza Qadri was also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Ex- PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi stated that he salutes the unshakable spirit and courage of the people living in Occupied Kashmir and is raising voice of freedom in the face of the worst atrocities. He further said that India was constantly breaching the ceasefire line and innocent civilians are also being targeted on a daily basis. He urged the UN that The United Nations should take notice of Indian violations of law. “The performance of PML-N Azad Kashmir under the leadership of Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has been excellent during the last four and a half years”, he appreciated. He also appreciated the AJK government as The PML-N government in Azad Kashmir took steps to raise the living standards of the people, especially during the Korona epidemic. The steps taken by Raja Farooq Haider Khan were lauded all over the world. The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan in the meeting said that after assuming charge, the PML-N government implemented the constitution of good governance and merit in accordance with the party’s manifesto.

The patronage of PML-N leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for the development and prosperity of Azad Kashmir is unforgettable. He also said that Kashmir’s independence is the foremost priority of the PML-N government. He said that Kashmiris have been besieged by the Indian Army in occupied Kashmir since August 5 last year and they are being subjected to inhumane atrocities by the Indian Army during the Indian military siege. Mentioning indian barbarism, India is targeting innocent civilians by provoking them on the ceasefire line. In recent days, even UN observers could not escape the provocation of the Indian Army. The Prime Minister further said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as the Prime Minister of Pakistan had solved the region’s long standing problems for which everyone is grateful. He said that the PML-N government will go to the next elections on the basis of its performance and the people will decide whether they are satisfied with our performance or not.
