LAHORE:   Pakistan Jamhoori League (PJL) has issued a white paper with the name of “Nakam Kaptaan at the poor performance of the PTI federal government ” and has demanded immediate new elections in the country. The tsunami of inflation is engulfing the lives of the poor as it has reached 12 percent. The number of unemployed people in Pakistan has reached 16.65 millions. The daily debt of Pakistan is increasing by Rs. 20 billion. Today, due to incompetent rulers, the growth rate has dropped from 5.8 % to 1.90%. The price of a 40 kg bag of flour has gone up from Rs 1,470 to Rs 2,800 during this govt. tenure. White paper issued by PjL President Rana Zaman Saeed , further states that the circular debt in Pakistan has gone up from Rs. 1100 billion to Rs. 2240 billion since the advent of PTI in power and the circular debt is increasing with each passing day due to the failed economic policies of the rulers at the hands of the government mafia. Rana Zaman Saeed added in his white paper that the per capita income of Pakistanis before PTI came to power was 1652 USD and now it is 1355 USD per capita under the current rulers and it is steadily declining.Due to failed policies the value of dollar has also increased by 160% from Rs. 116 during this tenure. The white paper stated that under the rule of Prime Minister Imran Khan, who had claimed not to take loans, Pakistan’s debts have doubled and are increasing by Rs 20 billion per day, but government ministers are always making false claims of economic growth. We demand that all those responsible, including the finance adviser, must resign immediately. Rana Zaman Saeed further said that only if we talk about increase in prices of food items the price of tomato has gone up by more than 117 per cent in PTI Tenure, 64 per cent increase in the price of potatoes, 41 per cent in the price of lentils, 40 per cent in the price of eggs and 32 per cent increase in the price of sugar has been recorded while the price of flour has doubled. Pakistan’s growth rate was 5.8% in 2018 and today it has dropped to 1.90% due to incompetent rulers. The white paper further stated that the uninterrupted rise in electricity and gas prices continues. Poor families are being forced to commit suicide along with children in all provinces, including Punjab, . The current rulers don’t deserve to remain in power any more. They must immediately leave govt and new elections should be held in the country. These rulers have become a torment for the nation. Getting rid of them as of today will be in the best interest of the nation.
