Balochistan’s students voice : Despite being the largest and mineral enriched land of Pakistan, Balochistan lacks basic facilities. Off late, the real misery is the misery of students due to lack of internet in Balochistan. Areas like Panjgur, Awaran, Shahrukh, Nasirabad, and much more lacks the basic signal networks for a phone call. How can one imagine to have a proper internet connection to conduct online classes? Turbat is the second largest city of Balochistan that is considered tobe among the most developed one yet the 4G service is banned here for last three years. Online classes is not a solution when one lacks internet. Therefore, I plea the government to facilitate the residents of Balochistan with basic facilities. -Afroz MJ Kech.
Child marriage: The flower like children in Pakistan are given responsibilities of a marriage instead of handing them a book to study. At the age of dreaming and struggling to achieve them, the girls suffer delivery. The boys, at the small age of playing and performing their kiddish acts, they are binded with the burden of a marriage. The ruthless families ruin the lives of the children by getting them married at a age when they do not know what marriage is. Woefully, there are uncountable victims of child marriage in our country whose lives were destroyed. Shockingly, in Pakistan 18% of the girls are married before the age of 18 and 4 % are married at the age of 15. 5% of the boys are married at the age of 18. It is sorrowful that Pakistan has occupied the sixth highest absolute number or women married at age of 18 in the world. I implore the government to stop this brutality that the innocent children pass through. -Farahnaz Farooq Ahmed Turbat
Culture day: History makes a nation alive and the nation is alive by culture. The nation is recognized by culture without culture the society is impossible. Culture day was celebrated when thousands of men, women, and children clad in traditional dresses and wearing Sindhi ajark tope and celebrating Sindhi culture day with great excitement and enthusiasm. Apart from that dancing to the tunes of Sindhi songs in the streets is not only the culture but your lifestyle, Your dressing, food, your language, marriage are also culture. In this compatible, there are plethora, for instance, Shah Abdul Latif bhittai, sachal sarmast who gave importance to the woman by referring courage , determination and patriotism which is showed by bhittai in the character of sohni, saasi, and marvi. To embolden women financially, socially, and politically in order to enable them to play an effective role in the country’s development and giving them respect these all fall in culture. furthermore, when changes occurred in the world, some changes occur and things start to get develop means our culture, customs, traditions grow but when the dominancy of one culture to other it diminished, for instance, Sindh had one of the oldest civilization which consisted of two large cities, Harappa and moenjo daro and nearly 80,000 people lived in these cities. Indus civilization seems to have been a peaceful one and their cities were built with strong walls and gateways and the people of Moenjo daro were civilized. we must be strong in moral and social values. character keeps alive tradition and culture. our younger generation must be made aware of our true spirit and culture. As our great poet shah Abdul latif bhittai has described and preached the true culture by dint of his poetry. -Shehnila Chandio
