MIRPUR (AJK),(Parliament Times): Chairman of the Global Pak/Kashmir Supreme Council, the UK~based Rights Outfit, Raja Sikander Khan has fully recovered from illness, caused by the wide~spread COVID~19 pandemic. The GPKSC Chairman has been tested negative by now with the great blessings of Allah, the Almighty, reports say.
Khan, currently on an official visit of Pakistan and AJK including his native district of Mirpur, has thanked his well wishers in various parts of the world who prayed for his speedy recovery messages, the GPKSC media wing said on Saturday. “In fact there the welwishers prayed for Raja Sikander Khan in the Holy cities of Makka & Madina as well as in mosques in UK, Europe, USA, Middle East especially the prayers by the well wishers from both sides of the LoC including AJK and IIOJK. Raja Sikander khan, while talking to media from his residence in native Mirpur Azad Jammu & Kashmir, stated that these very overwhelming prayers and good will messages, which saved him from the evil illness and have got a fresh life due to the blessings of Almighty ALLAH and the overwhelming prayers of family & friends from all over the globe not to forget the prayers of his beloved mother & father whom prayers day & night for my speedy recovery.
“My official tour of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir came to halt and lots of my appointments were postponed and as I am much better I will soon be resuming my normal activities representing the case of overseas community to Government of Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir as well as raising the voice for the voiceless and oppressed people of Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir whom have been suffering in the hands of occupation armed Indian troops’ atrocities and human rights violations since over seventy years and are now still under a strict curfew and living in an open prison since 5th August 2019 and I want the world to pressurize India to stop committing the atrocities and human rights violations on innocent people of Il Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and also break the strict curfew and give them their fundamental right of self determination”, the GPKSC chairman concluded.
