NIAMEY: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Saturday met with Minister of State Reem Al Hashimi and exchanged views on bilateral relations, corona situation and matters of mutual interest.
The two leaders met on the sidelines of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Niger.
Both of them agreed on further fortifying the bilateral ties in the meeting.
The two sides stressed the importance of further strengthening of OIC as a united and pivotal platform for the Muslim Ummah.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Pakistan and UAE are enjoying fraternal relations based on religious and cultural harmony.
UAE minister of state lauded Pakistan foreign minister for raising voice against Islamophobia.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi underlined the need for alleviating the difficulties facing Pakistani citizens in connection with UAE visa.
He said Pakistan is committed to forge closer cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in diverse fields.
