MUZAFFARABAD, (Parliament Times) : The Azad Jammu and Kashmir legislative Assembly at is session here on Tuesday paid glowing tributes to the National services rendered by the mother of the former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and President PMLN Punjab Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
The resolution was moved by the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan expressed deep sense of shock over the sad demise and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
The resolution which was adopted unanimously by the house paid glowing tributes to the national services rendered by her for the integrity of the country. The resolution says that she was a great supporter of the democracy and rules of law and her services will be remembered for a long time and the people of Azad Kashmir as well as the house are with the bereaved family in this hour of trial.
Addressing the assembly the leader of the House Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan said that over 15 billion cut was made by the federal government on the administrative budget of the Azad Kashmir as a result of which the government was unable to make the payment of the IT employees from the normal budget.
Meanwhile the newly elected President of traders association of Muzaffarabad Shoukat Nawaz Mir called on the Prime Minister here on Tuesday. The Prime Minister felicitated the newly elected President and said that the decision to impose lockdown was taken in the larger interest of the people of the state and to break the chain of corona pandemic to save the precious lives of the people.
He said traders are the respectable segments of our society and he will not take any decision against the traders but the lockdown was imperative in view of the prevailing situation of the COVID-19.
