Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : A stage play based on social issues was presented under the aegis of Punjab Council of the Arts which was written and directed by Zulifiqar Ali Awan. Yar Muhammad, Saeed Anwar, Lubna Shahzadi, Anjum Abbasi, Naeem Toota, Shagufta Khan, Arshan khan and others were among the caste of the play. The main theme of the play was unequal distribution of wealth in society which created disturbance that ultimately boosts crime. The difference between rich and poor increased in the past 70 years. Rich people are getting richer and richer and the poorer are becoming poorer. A large number of people showed up in the auditorium for watching drama. Deputy Director PUCAR Sajjad Hussain was also present on the occasion; he said that stage was a big platform to highlight the social problems of the society. Only by overcoming social divisions we can fulfill the dream of making Pakistan great, he added.
