MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has said that electronic media can play an effective role in projecting the true picture of Indian forces aggressions at the line of control to apprise the international community of the killings of innocent civilian by the Indian brute forces.Addressing the oath taking ceremony of newly elected office bearers of TV journalists association here on Monday, he urged them to utilize their professional capabilities in exposing the Indian forces atrocities and Indian forces aggression at the line of control over the globe.He said independent media is the need of the time to transmit credible information to the masses and the latest developments taking place at the line of control. He regretted that the media has not given proper coverage of the Indian forces aggressions and killings of innocent civilians at the line of control. The Prime Minister announced to look after all the families martyred due to Indian forces firings and stipend of three thousand each will be given to them by the government from its own budget.The Prime Minister said compensation packages of Indian forces affected have been increased and government would fulfill its responsibilities in this regard.The Prime Minister said 11 crore rupees have so for been released under the LOC packages and bankers are being constructed with the help of Pakistan Army at the line of control.The Prime Minister said the second phase of COVID-19 is more dangerous and urged the people to strictly follow the SOPs announced by the government to save from pandemic and added that the government will take important decisions in this regard in the coming days.
