AJK PM denounces Indian shelling on civillian population in Neelum valley



MUZAFFARAD,  (Parliament Times) : The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has strongly denounced the unprovoked Indian forces firing from across the line of control in different areas of Neelum and Jhelum Valley districts of Azad Kashmir as s result of which five civilian were embraced martyrdom and at least 28 were injured.

In his statement over the continued Indian forces firings on the civil population of Azad Kashmir the Prime Minister called upon the Pakistan government to immediately raise the issue at the United Nations and OIC and other international forums to apprise the international community of the situation arising out of Indian forces firing.

The Prime Minister said that India has been playing with the flame of fire and now the time has come to give a resolute and befitting response to the aggressor.

He regretted the United Nations has been playing a role of silent spectator over the killings of Kashmiri people at the hands of brute Indian forces.

He said Indian forces on one hand have intensified the reign of terror in occupied Kashmir and on the other side targeting the civil population of Azad Kashmir.

He said Kashmiri people living close to the line of control are the first defense line of Pakistan and playing a vibrant role along with the Pakistan Armed Forces for defending the ideological and geographical frontiers of the motherland .

The Prime Minister directed the civil administration to immediately shift the injured to the hospitals and civilians populations at safer places.
