Islamabad: (Raja Furqan Ahmed) Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) Presented the third evening of “Divvy Film Festival” in collaboration with Foundation Art Divvy at PNCA. On the third week, Nice Talking To You by Saim Sadiq, Some Lover To Some Beloved by Umar Riaz and Indus Blues by Jawad Sharif were screened. The first film screened was “Nice Talking To You” directed by Saim Sadiq. The movie revolves around Two strangers form a silent bond in the world’s loudest city. Next was “Some Lover To Some Beloved”, directed by Umar Riaz. The film is based upon a journey of A seven-year in the making documentary chronicling the life and work of two extraordinary Pakistani artists – veteran actor Zia Mohyeddin (‘Lawrence of Arabia’, ‘A Passage to India’) and revolutionary poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz. Last movie “Indus Blues” directed by Jawad Sharif in which Pakistani folk artists talk about their struggle to keep a fading art form alive while reminding the world what they are about to lose. The Festival focuses on independent Pakistani films and includes feature films, short films, documentaries and animated films.
