AJK assembly rejects report presented in favour of Qadianis in British Parliament

Muzaffarabad/ MIRPUR (AJK):    (Parliament Times)   There is no crisis in Pakistan regarding the rights of the minorities, efforts of ahmedies to malign and defame Pakistan is strongly condemned, said a resolution , presented in Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Tuesday by member Assembly Dr. Pir Syed Ali Raza Bukhari .

The Text of the resolution as reads:

This house rejects the report presented in favour of Qadianis in the British Parliament and considering this report as causing injury to the feelings of 1.8 Billion Muslims around the world. All possible diplomatic efforts from the Government of Pakistan should be initiated against the submission of this report in the British Parliament. This report must be withdrawn due to its false claims and tarnishing the reputation of a sovereign state, Pakistan.

B: That the Federal Government and Foreign office should play an effective diplomatic role to omit the following words mentioned in the report issued by United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, on June 14, 2018, at pages 46,47 and 49: and words are “Ahmedia community as Non-Muslim is the basis of institutional discrimination against them”. And also the words, “abolish Blasphemy provisions in Azad Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan”.

C: Reiterate the firm position that Ahmedies are Non-Muslims and their conspiracies in the world to portray them as victims is false and fabricated. Such efforts must be rebutted at all international and internal fora.

D: In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, like Pakistan, the oath of Prophet hood should be enforced in every section of Society and Profession, so that distinction can be made between Mirzai , Qadyani and real Muslims, even if further amendments to the constitution are required to introduce such Laws, as this is a Legal Necessity and Obligation.

E: In accordance with the intention of Article 4 (10) B of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Interim Constitution, 1974, a Law should be established against the apostasy of Muslims in the State.”
