In deep abyss of your inner being, all the negative impressions of committing suicide will be there and may damage your consciousness level. It can never be an option for invaluable life but a way of quitters,Not of winners” The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimated that in 2012, the rate of suicide in Pakistan was 7.5 per 100,000 people. In other words, around 13,000 people killed themselves that year. In 2016, the estimate was 2.9 per 100,000 i.e. over 5,500 ended their lives. Suicide is the act of taking one's own life. A person was going to commit suicide but a holy person saw him and said you can
go ahead but just listen a few words from me. He said before committing suicide can you donate y kidney to the king of this country he will pay you a lot. The man said no then saint again asked can you donate your eyes, liver, heart, pancreas and lungs the man said no then saint politely asked when you have such valuable human body and life , why you are killing it? The saint moved ahead but that man began to think and finally turned home “sometime your worth can save a valuable life. Data about suicide reveals that too much negative and repetitive thinking , traumatic stress, fear, depression, lack of social support, Difficulties in dealing with sexual orientation, chronic pain, illness, giving up,
hopelessness, Family disruptions and financial problems, relationship break-up, wrong feelings of worthlessness and guilt I can’t be forgiven etc are root causes of it. In addition, disaster, violence, abuse, loss and a sense of isolation are strongly associated with suicidal behavior. Suicide rates are also high amongst vulnerable groups who experience discrimination, such as refugees and migrants; indigenous peoples; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex (LGBTI) persons; and prisoners. Let’s ask some questions honestly: How many times thoughts of committing suicide come in your mind? What is the cause of it? How you cope with your challenges? Do you enjoy the challenges and difficult situations in your life? Are you suffering from any sort of psychological disorder? How much hopeful you are ? Are you facing any sort of difficulties in your relationships like with you, family and friend? Have you thought about hurting yourself? Do you hesitate to talk about your problems with people? How we should treat them? Respect and understand their feelings: from your point of you their feelings may not be serious but you good listening and attention may help them to feel satisfied. Treat them according to their mindset not yours. They cry for your help: don’t laugh when they cry never make a fun of their thoughts.
Encourage them for catharsis: suppression of feelings and emotions is one of the major cause of suicide. A person who is very expressive feels very light and rarely go to suicide. Make them feel that you love their happiness. Never unravel their secrets: if a person shares any secret with you and asks you not to share with anyone. Just be loyal your disloyalty may be life threatening for him/her. Do not act shocked or judge mental. Get professional help, even if the person resist. Life is like light and death is darkness. Be mindful to increase your life’s brightness.
