ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) Secretary Establishment Division Dr. Ijaz Munir has said that women can earn respectable employment through fashion designing and beautician courses and in this regard the establishment of School of Fashion Designing and Beautician under the auspices of Staff Welfare Organization Islamabad is a milestone. He said that the fashion and beauty industry is growing rapidly in the country which can bring economic benefits to women skilled in these fields.
He said this while inaugurating the School of Fashion Designing and Beautician, F6 / 4, Nazimuddin Road. Director General Staff Welfare Organization Islamabad Raheela Tajwar, Chief Welfare Officer Islamabad Mamina Arshad, Chief Welfare Officer Lahore Maqbool Chauhan and female students were also present on the occasion. Secretary Establishment Dr. Ejaz Munir said that there are few employment opportunities for women in the country but according to the vision of PTI government, women can earn respectable employment by getting excellence in textile and beautician courses. He said that economic self-sufficiency of women is beneficial for the country and the nation and is also the cause of development of the society.
Director General Staff Welfare Organization Raheela Tajwar said that the School of Fashion Designing and Beautician has been set up in a short span of time to make the organization a functioning body. She said that high quality courses are being conducted at low fees and by completing the courses students can be eligible for higher education in Quaid-e-Azam University and other institutions.
Later, certificates of appreciation were also distributed among the students who completed various courses. The Secretary Establishment was introduced in detail to the various departments of the institution.
