Professors Deserve Respect

Ghulam Mustafa Baladi
In the past Ex: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr Saqib Nisar took strict sou motu notice of presenting Punjab University’s Ex Vice Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran before a NAB court in handcuffs. After that Chairman NAB justice (r) Javed Iqbal took notice and ordered DG Lahore to immediately conduct inquiry of the incident that why the teachers were handcuffed despite clear orders of chairman NAB from time and
again and directions that self-respect shall be ensured at any cost. Recently, Assistant Professor of University of Sindh who was alleged in corruption was arrested and was treated like a murderer in front of the public. An officer humiliated the profession of prophecy by handcuffing the Assistant professor. He is arrested in the case 2018 and his name was in the transport committee of the University but atthat he was at China for his Post doctorate degree and mistakenly his name was not erased from thecommittee which was formed by University. Even in the Article 14 of the constitution it clearly
guarantees the dignity of man as a fundamental right. Its an request to Chief Justice of High Court ofSindh to investigate this crucial matter and an strict action should taken against the officer whohumiliated the profession of prophecy.
