ISLAMABAD: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hamza Shafqaat has sought report from all hospitals in federal capital in the face of threat of eruption of dengue fever. .
Meeting was held under Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqaat on Thursday in which spread and prevention from dengue virus was discussed.
The officials of ministry of health gave briefing on dengue virus and its prevention.
Deputy Commissioner gave the directives to administration and health officials to stay alert and said that report should be provided on daily basis regarding dengue virus. He asked that how many people have been stricken by dengue every day. Data should be entered on daily basis of the patients.
He further said that staff of hospitals should be 24 hours on alert and doctors should be available whereas android phone should be given to hospital staff so that proper communication can be made possible, computer operators in hospitals should be given access to internet, whole staff should install dengue app and data of patients should be shared.
