LAHORE: Decision has been taken by Punjab government to ban pillion riding on Muharram 9 and 10 to avert any untoward incident in the province.
As per media reports this decision was taken in an important meeting which was held here under the Additional Chief Secretary Home at civil secretariat to review law and order matters during Muharram.
In light of recommendation of stakeholders, Home Department has decided to impose a ban on pillion riding across the province during Muharram 9 and 10.
