Ghulam Mustafa Baladi 14 August is the day to be celebrated by every patriotic pakistani as the independence day. It is the day when people of Pakistan got independence from the British empire under the leadership of a very visionary leader, a man of honor Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. It is the day to remember the sacrifices of the heroes of Pakistan who fought bravely under the vision of Jinnah for the independence. Quaid e Azam in his first speech after the independence out loud announced that " You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place or worship in this state of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or
creed that has nothing to do with the business of the state". From these lines we can identify that Quaid's vision for Pakistan never was to build a sectarian state, but a state where people belongs to any religion or sect is free to live according to their religion. But today we are known as one of the religions extremist nation in the world, where the minorities are not safe from our religious scholars. They are abducted by them and forcibly converted to Islam. These acts can never be a Quaids vision nor the
Islam which was taught by our beloved prophet Muhammad PBUH. Our Government is constantly silenton this issue which is really hurting the feelings of our minorities. By doing these type of acts and the state's silence, it seems like our nation is standing where the religious extremists are fully dominated on government and apex courts which never was my Quaid's vision for Pakistan. Adding more in it, Today we are standing alone at world platform just because we never understands the vision of Jinnah for Pakistan. There are 45 muslim countries in the world but they are least bothered to support Pakistan on
the issue of Kashmir at the world platform. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are adamantly waiting for Pakistan's Government response on Indian repression but our Government seems busy in changing maps not the fates of Kashmiris. Moreover, If Quaid e Azam was alive today i am sure that the situationof Pakistan and the fates of Kashmiris would have been seen quite different from today. As Quaid e Azam was a visionary and a committed leader who exactly knows how to take right decision confidently
at the right time. At Present, We dont have a leader like Jinnah who can take decisions more confidently on every issue Pakistan is facing today. We hope that Pakistan one day will get a leader like Jinnah, For this an educated youth needs to come actively in the politics and fights for the vision of our Quaid.
