Lasbela: Dr. Hassan Waqar Cheema, Deputy Commissioner, Lasbela inaugurated the anti-
polio campaign in Lasbela District, the second largest industrial city of Balochistan. District Health Officer Lasbela said in a briefing that a target has been set to vaccinate 1,15,806 children across the district. In this regard, 235 mobile teams have been deployed in 79 areas. Monitors have been appointed in 35 fixed centers and 36 union councils in charge, he said, adding that the polio campaign would continue till August 21 and security has been provided to polio teams and workers in the district in the light of orders of Deputy Commissioner Lasbela.
