MIRPUR (AJK): A mass anti-India protest in front of the Indian High Commission in London on Wednesday – August 05 to be staged by UK-based Pakistani and Kashmiri expatriates under the auspices of the Kashmiris international rights outfit – the Global Pakistan Kashmir Supreme Council (GPKSC) to register extreme protest against the Indian sinister action of revoking special status of the disputed Jammu Kashmir state this bleak day last year, will be the hall mark of the world-wide protests being staged to mark ‘Youm e Estehsal’ (Kashmir Siege Day) being observed on the call of the government and the people of Pakistan and the people living both sides of the LoC in Jammu & Kashmir State, organizers said.
On this occasion Chairman Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council (GPKSC) Raja Sikander Khan will be hosting an All Parties International Kashmir Convention on August 5 in London to commemorate the 1st anniversary of Brutal siege of the disputed occupied State and the forced demographic changes in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
Very high profile and seasoned intelligentsia – the think tanks have been picked up by the host GPKSC Chairman Raja Sikander Khan and his team to participate in this high profile International Kashmir convention to share their respective input on way forward to highlight the significance of early peaceful solution of Kashmir issue and suggest a strategy to involve the international community as well as the UN and all the human rights forums/organizations to raise their voices against the brutal human rights violations being perpetrated against the innocent People of IIOJK and to exert pressure on India to lift the strict siege of the Indian Illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir state as well as to retrieve the article 370 & 35A and allowing the people of the disputed Jammu Kashmir State to decide about their destiny under their globally-committed birthright of self determination in line with the UN resolutions, Raja Sikander said in a telephonic interview to this Correspondent Tuesday evening.
“The Global Pakistan is also hosting a protest demonstration in front of the Indian High Commission in London and in Burnley Lancashire on 5th August 5 to observe the black day to mark first brutal anniversary of siege and demographic changes in Indian Occupied Kashmir with extreme indignation, he said.
Elaborating the Kashmir Siege Day program, Sikander Khan said that all required arrangements have been made in connection with the protest in front of the IHC building in Londan as formal permission, under the law of the land have been secured from London Metropolitan Police and other concerned authorities.
The GPKSC chief said that he and his colleagues besides the Pakistani and Kashmiri Diaspora community will later hold an identical the protest in Burnley Lancashire the same day against the Indian nefarious action of Aug. 05 last stabbing the special status of the globally-acknowledged disputed status of Jammu & Kashmir state.
Responding to a question, Sikander said that it had been mutually decided by the Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council along with President Tehreek e Kashmir UK Raja Fahim Kayani, President Tehreek e Kashmir Scotland Baillie Hanif Raja MBE and several of other Kashmiri leaders of the Diaspora Community & Political Parties that due to COVID-19 health precautions all the Pakistani / Kashmiri people will protest in their nearest city centers and outside the Indian consulates.
He said that as such anti-India protests and rallies will be taking place in all major cities on August 5 to show their support & solidarity with the freedom-loving population of the IIOJK against the Indian brutalities and reign of state terrorism and the brutal siege of the entire IIOJK in general and the Muslim-majority bleeding vale of Kashmir in particular.
The GPKSC Chief Raja Sikander Khan requested to all participants to adhere to the government’s guidelines and SOPs to COVID-19 and wearing face masks keeping the distance from each other as well as avoiding shaking hands and embracing to each other, he added
