ATTOCK: Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Captain (R) Muhammad Mahmood has said that the present government is well aware of the problems of the people and is trying to solve them with the help of the administration. He expressed these views while presiding over an important meeting at DC Office Attock. Deputy Commissioner Attock Ali Annan Qamar, Additional Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners, Chief Executive Officer of education Javed Iqbal, CEO Health Dr Sohail Iajz and heads of all government departments were also present in the meeting. Corona virus, dengue, price control, development programs, wheat procurement, tiger force, cattle markets, Eid-ul-Adha arrangements, locust heart attack and other important issues were discussed. Talking about law and order, DC Attock said that the overall law and order situation in the district is satisfactory and all possible protection is being provided to the people.
The administration, in collaboration with the health department and other departments, is closely monitoring the situation related to corona virus on a daily basis and is taking all necessary steps. The public is also being urged to implement SOPs. Along with this, strict legal action is being taken against the violators so that effective measures can be taken to eradicate the corona virus in the district. Briefing about the development programs, it was informed that Work is underway on 57 different development schemes at a cost of Rs. 11155.917 million. These include road maintenance and upgrades, upgrades in the education and health sectors, infrastructure, Sports, local government.
