Balochistan expresses gratitude to the health workers performing duty on frontline;


Solidarity on “completion of 100 days in combating against corona-virus,

QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has expressed gratitude to the health workers performing duty on frontline including doctors, paramedical staff, security officials and crew of keeping healthy environment, adding those who sacrificed their lives’ in combating corona-virus endemic. Chief Minister was addressing in a gathering at Fatima Jinnah Hospital here on Saturday after “completion of 100 days in combating against corona-virus”, wherein secretaries, doctors, paramedical staff also attended the function.

Chief Minister said in the beginning days there was no knowledge about seriousness of corona-disease, but Balochistan government during earlier hours found methods and ways for its elemination even from Taftan to our cities and villages effective measures were adopted. He called upon the people who while sitting in TV programmes give health facilities in Balochistan and compared with other provinces which are not proper, Balochistan is back-ward province whose comparison with other provinces can not be considered. In fact, doctors, para medical staff, provincial government hospitals are praise worthy for their love with their profession and jobs.

Chief Minister said adding Covid 19 affected social and cultural changes in the society, whereas business and job opportunities were also infected, we could not say as to what would happen next.

Chief Minister said that challenge in the health sector will have to be faced, for which we have started our preparations for which we have increased our funds upto 40 %. For corona-disease 8 billion have been reserved. We expect for appropriate funding by the Federal government.

Chief Minister said the efforts of willing workers would be appreciated but non-punctual and unwilling workers would be dealt with under disciplinary rules. He appreciated the efforts of Secretary Health Dosteen Jamaldini whose services in health sector can’t be over looked.

Chief minister said, we are grateful to the nation, which showed conceliderity whole heartedly to fight against corona-virus. With the help of Almighty Allah the nation will over-come the situation of this endemic. Balochistan Provincial minister for Finance Mir Zahoor Baledi also addressed the audience and appreciated role of frontline workers. Chief Minister also inspected under-constructed and constructed ICU wards and issued directions appropriately.
