LAHORE: Accountability Court (AC) Lahore has directed former chief minister Punjab and opposition leader in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif to appear before it on July 01 in person in Ramzan Sugar Mills case.
AC Judge Amjid Nazir Chaudhry issued written orders regarding previous hearing of Ramzan Sugar Mills case wherein it was said that Shahbaz Sharif was summoned for indictment but he did not appear.
It was further said in the order that counsel for Shahbaz Sharif had filed corona virus report stating that Shahbaz Sharif had tested positive in corona virus contagion and he has isolated him at his home.
The counsel for Shahbaz Sharif requested the court the hearing of the case be adjourned for three weeks.
Upon it court ordered that Shahbaz Sharif should appear before it on July 01 in person.
